The disc seats against a body stop strip, achieving a higher level of tightness. The zero position in the closed position is achieved by the disc contacting the stop strips in the body. The stop in the actuator serves as overload protection against the actuator torque.   <\/li><li>The shaft is continuous and supported in externally mounted, maintenance-free plain bearings. The actuator torque is transmitted by means of a parallel key. <\/li><li>The shaft passage to atmosphere is sealed by an adjustable packing fitted at both shaft ends. The packing material is adapted to the operating conditions.
