In liquid form, natural gas has a much smaller volume than in its usual gaseous state and can be transported in very large quantities. In LNG terminals, the natural gas is liquefied by cooling it down to -162 °C, and processed for use in a variety of applications. The LNG is transportable for loading onto ships or for forwarding by other means of transport.
For these processes with their particularly high safety requirements, we provide shut-off and control valves that have proven themselves throughout the world thanks to their reliability, functionality and quality.

LNG can be transported and stored in very large quantities and can be used both for a variety of industrial applications and as a mobile fuel.
VOLUME
By cooling it down to -162 °C, the liquefied natural gas has a volume that is 600 times smaller than in its gaseous state and can be stored in a way that saves an enormous amount of space.
TRANSPORT
Thanks to the much smaller volume, the liquid natural gas can be transported in larger quantities and pumped into LNG tank lorries or tanker ships.
STORAGE
In liquid form, LNG can be stored with minimal space requirements and can be used as an energy source in a variety of industrial applications.
