Designed primarily for use in steelworks, incineration plants and in the construction of industrial furnaces, OHL Gutermuth designs special valves that, through the use of heat-resistant and scale-resistant materials as well as components and parts for high-temperature applications, remain load- and dimensionally stable and transfer only the minimum possible amount of heat from the medium to the surrounding environment. If required, they can also be fitted with a lining and extended external support bearings.

In addition to the general technical requirements typical for use in vacuum systems, shut-off elements (valves) in vacuum systems may be subject to special requirements depending on the respective application, which must be taken into account during product design. OHL Gutermuth’s high-pressure shut-off and control valves are absolutely leak-tight, enable precise control of media flow, and are available with metal-to-metal sealing or as through-bore designs. Fire-safe shut-off and control valves are available for nominal pressures up to ANSI CL 2500 and nominal sizes up to 2800 mm. Our absolutely leak-tight shut-off and control valve is designed for use with abrasive media and under extreme pressure.
