Design features
- Lightweight and cost-effective valve relative to its size, thanks to a special welded design and adaptation to operating conditions.
- Seat welded onto the body and disc, made of corrosion- or erosion-resistant chromium-nickel steel.
- Very low breakaway torque, 45% lower than with laminated sealing rings.
- Gas-tight shut-off in any installation position of the valve, thanks to special sizing and shaping of the body seat and disc.
- The valve stem is sealed from the media chamber to the atmosphere with an adjustable packing, the material of which is adapted to the operating conditions.
- The standard actuator for open/close operation is a double-acting pneumatic piston actuator.
